2025 has been a pivotal year for Aviasur. Opening of the Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Hangar: A new gateway to North America

One of the most significant milestones of the year was the inauguration of our new hangar at Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). This new infrastructure strengthens Aviasur’s presence in one of the most important aviation hubs in the continent.

The hangar features 1,250 m² of operational space, large hydraulic doors, and a high-resistance floor, designed to accommodate mid-size and large business aircraft. In addition, it includes 195 m² of modern office space with work areas, meeting rooms, and direct ramp access, enabling efficient, safe, and customer-oriented operations.

Its strategic location facilitates maintenance services, technical support, and aircraft parking for both transient and based aircraft, enhancing our service capabilities in the North American market.

First Full G1000 modernization on a King Air

In 2025, we completed one of the most technically significant projects in our history: the full transformation of a Beechcraft King Air 200 through the integration of the Garmin G1000 NXi suite.

This project went far beyond an avionics upgrade. It involved a complete aircraft reengineering, achieving:

• Improved operational efficiency, with an approximate weight reduction of 250 lbs, increasing useful load.
• NextGen technology, through the integration of ADS-B In/Out, TCAS I, and Garmin radar altimeter.
• Aerodynamic enhancements, with the installation of LED-illuminated winglets, optimizing performance and fuel efficiency.
• Enhanced comfort and aesthetics, with the renewal of the interior lighting system and LUMA panels.

The entire process was carried out under certified standards at our Garmin Authorized Service Center, delivering a safer, more efficient aircraft with increased market value.

IS-BAO Stage 2: strengthening our safety culture

Throughout the year, Aviasur progressed toward IS-BAO Stage 2 certification, reaffirming its commitment to operational safety and continuous improvement.

This international standard, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), encourages organizations to go beyond regulatory compliance by promoting structured risk management, robust procedures, and a prevention-based organizational culture.

IS-BAO implementation strengthens our processes, professionalizes decision-making, and ensures that every operation is conducted under the highest international standards.

TRU Simulation representation: World-Class training

In 2025, we also consolidated our representation of TRU Simulation, a leader in training solutions for general aviation. Through this partnership, Aviasur offers the region high-fidelity flight simulators, ranging from advanced devices to classroom training tools.

This offering enables operators and pilots to access efficient, customized training solutions aligned with the highest industry standards, reinforcing both professional development and operational safety.

New Aviasur hangar in Uruguay

As part of our regional expansion strategy, this year we took a key step with the opening of our new hangar in Uruguay. This facility strengthens Aviasur’s presence in the Southern Cone, expanding our service capacity and consolidating a technical support network that accompanies operators throughout the region.
