Aviasur: Two maintenance bases serving business aviation in Latin America
Aviasur: Two maintenance bases serving business aviation in Latin America

In business aviation, time and safety allow no margin for error. For every operator, having a reliable maintenance partner is key to ensuring operational continuity and peace of mind on every flight. At Aviasur, we understand this well. That’s why we have developed two strategic maintenance bases that not only repair, but also optimize and enhance the evolution of your fleet.

Santiago: The exclusive heart of our operations

Our main base in Santiago, Chile, stands as the only Repair Station in the country directly certified by key manufacturers: Textron Aviation, Williams International, and Pratt & Whitney. We operate under DGAC certification (CMA N°472), and have added the support of ANAC (Argentina) and FAA Part 91 (USA) to our capabilities.

This accreditation ensures procedures aligned with the most demanding international standards. Here, we service more than 22 aircraft models from 7 different manufacturers, going beyond routine inspections:

  • Cabin modernization and avionics upgrades.
  • Structural and interior refurbishments to extend service life.
  • Performance Upgrades, integrating solutions from leading brands such as Garmin, Blackhawk Aerospace, BLR Aerospace, along with BRS Aerospace, Collins Aerospace, Raisbeck Engineering, Midcontinent Avionics, Flight Data Systems, and MT-Propeller.

In addition, we ensure flight continuity through our Mobile Service Unit (MSU) for AOG assistance and direct spare parts provisioning. Looking ahead, we are in the process of becoming a Garmin satellite in Chile, further reinforcing our leadership in cutting-edge technology.

Montevideo: Regional coverage and strategic expansion

In Montevideo, Uruguay, we extend our coverage with a specialized focus on commercial and regional aviation. Located at Carrasco International Airport (MVD), Hangar 60, this base operates under key international certifications, including DINACIA (Uruguay), DINAC (Paraguay), ANAC (Argentina), and the FAA.

This location not only provides maintenance support, but also serves as a comprehensive service hub:

  • Expanding Infrastructure: Following our merger with Sofitech S.A. in December 2024, in August 2025 we completed an expansion of our facilities, growing from 600m² to 1,500m². This upgrade allows us to service larger aircraft and includes specialized workshops, new spare parts warehouses, and a VIP Lounge.
  • 24/7 Support and FBO Services: We provide round-the-clock support to airlines with line services, ramp services, AOG assistance, and specialized equipment for Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Bombardier aircraft. Additionally, we offer FBO (Fixed Base Operator) services, hangars, and Flight Support (Trip Support).
  • General and Business Aviation: We maintain our focus on general aviation as an Authorized Textron Aviation Service Center (for Piston models, Caravan, King Air C90, and B200), as well as an Authorized Pipistrel Service Center.

More than Maintenance: A partner in your fleet’s evolution

At Aviasur, maintenance means optimization and evolution. Our services include comprehensive airworthiness management, spare parts supply, and the logistics required to ensure safe, modern, and efficient operations.

With our bases in Santiago and Montevideo, we position ourselves as a strategic ally to maximize your aircraft availability, extend their life cycle, and keep them at the forefront in an increasingly competitive market.
